Blue Bay Resort, located in the central part of the island, is also home to one of my favorite hidden spots for a photoshoot in Curaçao. While the main Blue Bay beach is beautiful, it’s often crowded and full of sunbeds, so we don’t shoot there. Instead, we walk a little further to a quiet beach area with beautiful rock formations that make a stunning and natural backdrop for your photos.
This spot is usually completely empty, and it’s tucked away from the busy part of the resort, which means you’ll have plenty of privacy during your shoot. If you don’t feel comfortable with lots of people watching, this is a perfect location for you. It works great for both couple sessions and family shoots.
Even though the main beach is too crowded for a shoot, it’s still a lovely place to relax after. You can easily spend the rest of your day there.
Since this location is on resort property, there is a security checkpoint at the entrance. Just bring your driver’s license for ID and tell them you’re going to the beach. You’ll be allowed in without any problem.
