Kokomo is located just outside of Willemstad, and on the way there you’ll pass the flamingos — a fun little stop after your shoot if you feel like snapping a quick photo or just watching them for a moment.
The beach itself is small and usually full of sunbeds, which makes it less ideal for a full shoot. But I still include Kokomo as a location option because of one standout feature — the beautiful pier. It looks like a tropical postcard, surrounded by bright blue water, and creates a dreamy backdrop for your photos. Just scroll down to see some examples.
This location works best for solo shoots, couples, or small families (up to 5 people), since space is limited. And because it gets busy later in the day, I only offer shoots here in the morning when it’s still quiet.
Also good to know — Kokomo is home to the famous swing in the water. If you want a fun photo on the swing, make sure to bring your swimwear. It’s a great way to end the shoot and get a few playful shots in the water too. A perfect mix of relaxed and tropical vibes for your photoshoot in Curaçao.
